The Dalles Weekly Reminder, May 15, 1987
Ella Margaret Larsen, 94, died May 6 at a local nursing home.  She was a 
resident of The Dalles since 1972, formerly of Portland.

Mrs. Larsen was born in Chadron, Neb., Jan. 22, 1893.  She was a member of the 
Temple Baptist Church in Portland.

She is survived by her three daughters, Gladys Hikley of The Dalles, Blanch 
Coreson of Bremerton, Wash., and Doris Knight of Portland; three 
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Chris Modin of Milwaukie.

Funeral services were at Portland Memorial Mausoleum.  Spencer, Libby and 
Powell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
