     Norma Lee Lamb, 79, a resident of The Dalles, died at a local care 
facility on Thursday, March 3, 2005.
     She was born Aug. 15, 1925, in Mineral Point, Mo., the oldest of four 
children to Jake Lewis and Bessie May (Key) Miller. She grew up and attended 
schools in Mineral Point.
     She married Evan Edward Lamb Jr. on May 11, 1946, in Louisville, Ky.
     They lived in Kentucky after they were married and moved out West due to 
Evan’s work with the railroad.
     They lived in California and moved to Oregon in 1987.
     She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and Lioness Club 
Auxiliary in California.
     She enjoyed playing bingo, Keno in Reno and slots. 
     Norma is survived by her husband, Evan Lamb, Mosier; her children, Linda 
and her husband, Kenny Bates, Eureka, Calif., Cathy and her husband, Hector 
Serrano, The Dalles, Debbie and her husband, Ken Haring, Reno, Nev., Evan Lamb 
III and his wife, Leah, The Dalles, Donna Lamb and her boyfriend, Joseph 
Simpson, The Dalles; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her brother, 
Lewis R. Miller, Texas; and her sister, Virginia May, New Jersey.
     She was preceded in death by her sister, Gladous Hargrove, Missouri.
     Viewing visitation will be held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home 
on Monday, March 7, from 3 to 5 p.m.
     Rosary services will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, 
March 8, at 10 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 a.m. at St. 
Peter’s Catholic Church with Father Joe Kelbel as celebrant. 
     Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery.
     Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
