The Dalles Chronicle, April 24, 2005
     Judith Ann Laird, 57, a resident of Lyle, died at her home on April 23, 
2005. 
     She was born Dec. 11, 1947 in The Dalles to Lloyd Earnest and Dorothy 
Lewe Parks Shelley.
     She graduated from Klickitat High School and was a lifelong resident of 
Klickitat and Lyle.
     She enjoyed making things with beads and spending time with her 
grandchildren.
     She married Marvin Dean Laird. He died July 10, 2002.
     She is survived by two sons, Lloyd Lattimore, Washougal; and Nathan 
Laird, Lyle; a daughter, Lee Ann Mitchell, Portland; two grandsons, Easton 
Mitchell and Zachary Laird; two granddaughters, Shelby Lattimore and Kirsten 
Laird; her mother, Dorothy Shelley, Klickitat; and two sisters, Janice Godsil, 
Vancouver, Wash.; and Sandy Shelley, Anchorage, Alaska.
     Graveside services will be Thursday, April 28, at 11 a.m. at Mt. View 
Cemetery in Goldendale with Pastor Ken Akins officiating.
     Erdman Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
