The Dalles Chronicle, May 11, 2005
    Than Kramer, 69, a resident of Dufur, died at the local hospital on 
Monday, May 9, 2005.
     He was born Feb. 11, 1936, in The Dalles, the only child of Sylvester P. 
and Florence Kramer. He was raised in Dufur and graduated from Dufur High 
School.
     He lived in Dufur most of his life where he owned and operated the family 
business, Kramer’s Market, until he retired.
     He enjoyed cruising in his Jeep in the forest and picking mushrooms.
     He is survived by his children, Steve Kramer and his wife, Mary; Shari 
Kramer and Scott Kramer, all of Dufur; grandchildren, Grayson and Shelby 
Kramer, both of Dufur. 
     Memorial services will be held at Dufur School on Sunday, May 15, at 1 
p.m. with Asa Jenson officiating. Cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt 
Crematory with Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
