The Dalles Chronicle, December 31, 2003
     Curtis C. Koznek, 60, a resident of The Dalles, died Monday, Dec. 29, 
2003, in The Dalles.
     He was born Sept. 3, 1943 in Warroad, Minn. He moved to The Dalles as a 
boy and graduated from The Dalles High School in 1962. 
     He married Sandra Evans Koznek in 1977.
     He attended college in Portland and the UCLA School of Dental Technology 
in Los Angeles. He owned and operated a dental lab in The Dalles for more than 
30 years. He was also a talented musician who enjoyed playing at jam sessions 
in the area.
     He is survived by his wife, Sandra; two daughters, Crystal Barnes, 
Lebanon; and Kelli Anderson, Thornton, Colo.; three sons, Mike, Walla Walla, 
Wash.; Billy, The Dalles; and Ernie, Lacy, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; six great-
grandchildren; two brothers, Arlan, Portland; and Clare, Sandy. 
     His parents, Clarence and Luella Koznek, preceded him in death.
     A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at The Dalles Eagles 
Lodge on Saturday, Jan. 3 at 1 p.m.
