The Dalles Weekly Reminder, March 15, 1984
     Thomas Klindt, a lifelong resident of The Dalles, died March 6 at a local 
nursing home.  He was 94.

     Klindt was born in The Dalles, April 13, 1889.  He worked as a dairyman 
in The Dalles and in later years worked for the Union Pacific Railroad until 
his retirement.

     Klindt is survived by his wife, Edna of The Dalles, a son, Donald of 
Portland, a daughter, Audrey Davidson of Whittier, Calif., five grandchildren 
and nine great-grandchildren.

     Funeral services were at the Odd Fellows Memorial Mausoleum March 9, with 
Mr. Melvin Patton officiating.

     Memorials are suggested to the Mid-Columbia Chapter of the Blind.  
Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
