The Dalles Chronicle, February 17, 2006
     Stephen Anderson Kirsling, 54, a former resident of The Dalles, died in 
Portland on Feb. 11, 2006.
     He was born June 13, 1951 in Pasadena, Calif. He married Judith Cole in 
1972. He was project manager for Morgan Industrial.
     He came to the area in 1979, coming to Portland from Vancouver. He grew 
up in Santa Rosa, Calif. and received a bachelor’s degree from Simpson Bible 
College in San Francisco. Previously he had attended LaTourneau College in 
Longview, Texas. Prior to coming to Oregon he had lived in Longview. He lived 
in The Dalles in 2005 while working on a project for Design Structures. 
     Survivors include his wife; daughters, Jene Kirsling, Leslie Boxell and 
Stephanie Gerhardt; and a brother, Mark Kirsling.
     A memorial service will be held Feb. 19 at 3 p.m. at Mosaic Church, 1832 
NE 39th St., Portland.
     Memorials may be made to the Stephen Kirsling Memorial Fund at Bank of 
America.
     Oregon Funeral and Cremation is in care of arrangements.
