     Robbie Lee Kirk, 91, a resident of Hood River, died at the hospital in 
Hood River on Friday, Aug. 19, 2005.
     She was born on April 8, 1914, in Cucamonga, Calif., to William and Rosa 
(Kelley) Hatton. 
     She was raised in Barsville, Okla., and Odis, Wash. While living in 
Wenatchee, Wash., she completed her nursing degree. Robbie started working in 
the radiology department at the Wenatchee hospital, then transferred to the 
newborn and children department. In the later years, she worked as a nurse in 
a nursing home in Wenatchee. She moved to The Dalles in 1989. 
     She was a big Portland Trailblazer fan and enjoyed reading and crocheting.
She is survived by John Kirk Jr., Scio; Wilma Jean Anderson, Austin, Texas; 
Jeanette Diaz, Deer Lodge, Mont.; Janet Harley, Waterville, Wash.; 11 
grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1971.
     Private family services will be held at a later date. Spencer, Libby & 
Powell Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements.
