She was born November 13, 1926, in Roberts, Idaho, the oldest of four children to Michael Thomas and Alma Wilhelmina (Galer) Williams. She grew up and graduated from high school in Roberts, then attended St. Anthony's Hospital School of Nursing in Pocatello (Idaho). She married Lorenzo H. Kimball on January 16, 1950, and he worked as an iron worker on the Snake and Columbia River dams. They settled in The Dalles in 1960. She was a homemaker and member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed her family and reading novels. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Lorenzo Kelly and Tami Kimball, The Dalles; Michael and Deon Mace, Pocatello, Idaho; Peggy Jo and John Hammel, Moscow, Idaho and Shannon L. and Hal Lindell, Tygh Valley (Oregon); grandchildren, Leslie, John, Sean, Niki, Lester, Cody, Aimee, Aaron, Sean and Josh; great-grandchildren, her brother, Pat Williams, Bakersfield, California; and her sister, Peggy Gushwa, Chandler, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo, in March 1998, her daughter, Kim Ditmar and her brother, Larry Williams. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, December 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Reverend Todd Unger as celebrant. Interment of cremains will follow at The Dalles Parklawn Cemetery. Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory with Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
