The Dalles Weekly Reminder, August 23, 1984
Esther Phoebe Kemp, 85, a resident of The Dalles for the past four years and 
formerly a resident of Pasco, Wash., died at Mid Col. Medical Center Aug. 20.

She was born May 2, 1899 in Atkinson, Neb.

Survivors include one son, Jack T. Kemp; three daughters, Florence Langenfeld, 
Omaha, Neb.; Phoebe Moncrief, Kennewick; and Zane Sutton, The Dalles; 17 
grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and a sister, Clarissa Milner, Stuart, 
Neb.  Her husband Lewis Kemp died in 1968 and a son Lewis died in 1979.

Memorial services were at Chenowith Baptist Church, Wednesday, at 6 p.m. with 
the Rev. Virgil Savage officiating.  Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home was 
in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Judson Baptist College Fund.
