     Mildred “Millie” Elizabeth Keller, 96, The Dalles, died at her home on 
Monday, Oct. 9, 2006.

     She was born in Zumbrota, Minn., on April 25, 1910, one of a set of twin 
children to her mother Ida Petersen. She was raised in St. Ignatuis, Mont., 
and graduated from high school. 

     She married Charles Keller on July 20, 1932. They were married for 64 
years. They lived in Montana until moving to The Dalles to help build The 
Dalles Dam. 

     She worked at many diners around The Dalles and also worked for many 
years at Diamond Fruit in Hood River. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and loved 
spending time with her family. 

     She is survived by her children, Barbara and Dan Arends, Norman Keller, 
Jack and Mary Keller, Donna Baldwin, Mildred Keller, Charlene and Jim 
Caldwell, Minnie and Wayne Bergguest and Linda and David Rilatos; her 
grandchildren, Debbie, Jaycee, Norman, Dana, Jerry, Charlie, Tonya, Lori, 
Mindy, Steve, Sue Shelly, Larry, Craig, Mikki, Kelly, Matt, Jennifer, Walt, 
Jaime; 35 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren and one great-
great-great grandchild and her friends and caregivers, Debbie and Debra. 
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Keller and her parents.
A private family graveside service will be held. Private cremation was held at 
The Dalles Win-Quatt Crematory with Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in 
care of arrangements.

     Memorials may be made to Hospice of The Gorge, 751 Myrtle, The Dalles, OR 
97058.
