She was born May 30, 1920 in Willamina, the youngest of four children to Bert and Elizabeth (Wynegardner) White. She settled in The Dalles as a young teenager. She married Loyd Albert Messinger on June 1, 1937, in Goldendale. They farmed wheat and raised cattle in the Fifteen Mile area until 1980. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge and enjoyed the outdoors, horses and had lead a 4-H horse club and was active in the local saddle clubs. She also enjoyed square dancing. After the death of her husband, Loyd, in September of 1994, she married Durward Kaseberg in 1996 and he preceded her in death in March of 1998. She is survived by her twin sister, Verda and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside memorial services will be held at The Dalles Odd Fellows Cemetery on Cherry Heights Road on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004 at 10 a.m. with Asa Jenson officiating. Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory with Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
