The Dalles Weekly Reminder, October 13, 1983
     Frances F. Jurgenson, 81, a resident of The Dalles since 1934, died 
Friday at her home.
     She was born May 4, 1902 in Des Moines, Iowa.
     Mrs. Jurgenson was a member of the Senior Citizens Club, the AARP and 
several pinochle groups.
     Survivors include a stepson, Norman T. Jurgenson, Hood River; six 
grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a brother, Clair W. Booth, Prineville, 
and a sister, Joella Johnson,, St. Maries, Idaho.  A daughter, Audra Miller, 
and her husband, Norman, died earlier.
     Graveside funeral services were Tuesday at the IOOF Parklawn Cemetery 
with Pastor Asa Jenson officiating.
     Casketbearers were Monte, Jerry and Lariman Miller, Jerry Battersby, Lary 
Wandling and James Jurgenson.
     Spencer, Libby & Powell was in charge of arrangements.
     Memorials are suggested to the Senior Citizens Bus or the Oregon Heart 
Fund.
