The Dalles Chronicle, December 14, 2004
     Linda Lee (Goff) Johnstone, 60, a former resident of The Dalles, died on 
Dec. 10, 2004 in Portland.
     She was born Nov. 5, 1944 in Portland.
     She attended Lents School and was in the first graduating class of 
Marshall High School.
     She lived in Idaho, Kentucky, Indonesia and Scotland. While living in 
Kentucky she attended the University of Lexington.
     She volunteered to teach art classes in school and taught English to 
people who could not speak English.
     She lived in The Dalles for more than 10 years.
     She married James B. Johnstone in 1977 and they later divorced in 1998.
     Survivors include her daughter, Duan Shannon Johnstone; two sisters, 
Diane Camelli and Shirley Hanson; two nieces and one nephew.
     Arrangements are by Mt. Scott Funeral Home.
