She was born Nov. 5, 1921, in Oakley, Idaho, the eighth of fifteen children to Lyman Carlos and Ida Myrtle (Hunter) Severe. She grew up in St. Anthony, Idaho and graduated from high school in St. Anthony. She married Blaine Dee Pincock and lived in the St. Anthony area. After her divorce, she married Robert Roy Johnson on Oct. 28, 1957, in Wenatchee, Wash., and they resided in The Dalles. She worked in The Dalles as a telephone operator for Pacific Northwest Bell, then as a clerk for Easthill Grocery Store and retired from J.C. Penny Company in the early 1990’s. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed her family, homemaking, gardening, home canning, quilting and was an avid reader. She is survived by her children Scott Pincock and his companion, Connie; Eddie and his wife, Janet Johnson; Jack and his wife, Susan Pincock; Dick and his wife, Connie Johnson, all of The Dalles; Louis and his wife, Lynda Pincock, Medford; Mike and his wife, Karen Pincock, Monteview, Idaho; Susan Kello, Pierre, S.D.; Jan and her husband, Rodney Felshaw, Brigham City, Utah; 33 grandchildren and 50 plus great-grandchildren. Viewing visitation will be held at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home from 2 to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 7, and 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at The Dalles Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints, 1815 East 15th Street, on Tuesday, June 8, at 1 p.m. with Bishop Ron Robbins officiating. Interment will follow at the Three Mile Road Odd Fellows Cemetery (formerly Parklawn Cemetery). Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Gorge, 751 Myrtle Street, The Dalles, OR 97058.
