He was a graduate of Wahtonka High School. Citizens of the Mid-Columbia area searched diligently with law enforcement personnel when Mr. Jackson and a friend, Dean Roderick (who is still missing), were discovered missing April 11 after a fishing trip on the Columbia. Mr. Jackson was born April 10, 1968, in Portland, Ore. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Margaret Jackson of The Dalles; a sister, Tiia Jackson of The Dalles; grandparents, Hazel L. Moffitt of The Dalles and Norman and Helen Jackson of Vancouver, Wash.; aunts and uncles and 13 cousins. Graveside services were held at the Odd Fellows Parklawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, officiated by Dave Jones. Memorials may be made to the Dean Roderick-Rick Jackson Memorial Fund in care of the District 9 superintendent's office. Smith Callaway Chapel was in charege of arrangements.
