Wakley iwakley@msn.com and July 27, 2006, 7:00 pm The Dalles Weekly Reminder, October 4, 1984 Alma Fraley Iverson, 65, died Sept. 23 at Mid-Columbia Medical Center. She was a lifetime resident of the Tygh Valley and Maupin areas. She was born March 16, 1919 in Maupin to Benjamin and Lydia Fraley. She married Donald Iverson in White Salmon, Wash. on April 6, 1940. She was a longtime member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Methodist Church. Other than her husband, Donald, survivors include a son, Gareld Iverson, Maupin; six grandchildren, Kenneth Nicholson, Martha Moyer, Pam Wheeler, Katrina Iverson, Darrin Iverson and Anne Marie Iverson; seven great- grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Pat Myers, Seattle; a step-sister, Jerrie Bray, Seattle; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Thursday at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Allgeier officiating. Burial was at Parklawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Oregon Heart Fund.
