The Dalles Chronicle, January 4, 2005
     Frances G. Huber, 98, a resident of The Dalles died Thursday, Dec. 30 
2004 at a local care facility. 
     She was born Jan. 7, 1906 in Scotland, S.D., to John and Elizabeth 
(Schuck) Cisar. She moved to Corvallis with her husband Mike in 1945 and 
received a masters degree in home economics from Oregon State at 50. She was 
an active member of the Episcopal church and was known for her Christmas 
cookies. 
     She is survived by her son Paul, Mosier; her daughter Mary, Goldendale; 
two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. 
     In accordance with her wishes no public services will be held. Her family 
will observe private ceremonies of remembrance in conjunction with the 
placement of her ashes. Arrangements are by Columbia Cremation & Burial.
