The Dalles Weekly Reminder, March 22, 1984
Catherine Hopper, 82, a resident of The Dalles since 1945, died March 14 at a 
local nursing home.

She was born Oct. 27, 1901, in Brooklyn, N.Y.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Pythian Sisters, Degree 
of Honor and was a charter member of the Emblem Club.

Survivors include a son, William Schramm, of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. 
Doug (Martha) Wray of The Dalles; grandsons Rickey Schramm of Bastrop, Texas, 
Steven and David Wray of The Dalles; granddaughter Lori Wray of The Dalles and 
two great-grandsons.

Graveside services were Saturday with the Rev. Karl Vercouteren and Rev. James 
Hazlett officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Lions Night Foundation in care of Spencer, Libby 
& Powell.

Spencer, Libby & Powell was in charge of arrangements.
