The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 24, 1983
     John M. Hopper, 68, a resident of The Dalles for six years, died Nov. 17 
at his home.
     He was born Nov. 11, 1915 in Detroit, Mich.
     Mr. Hopper was plant and traffic manager for a brewery in Detroit, and 
then a driver for Globe Laundry until his retirement.
     Survivors include his wife, Talma E., The Dalles; two sons, James, 
Saugus, Calif., and William, White Salmon, Wash.; three grandsons and three 
granddaughters.
     Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
