The Dalles Weekly Reminder, February 2, 1984
     Geneva Mary Hobbs, 65, a resident of The Dalles and formerly a resident 
of Parkdale, died Friday at Mid-Columbia Medical Center.

     She was born Sept. 7, 1918 in Gordon, Neb.

     Survivors include two sons, Pat E. and Jerry D., both of The Dalles; 
three daughters, Sheri Krieger, Fairbanks, Alaska; Ginger Hobbs, Austin, Tex., 
and Wanda Marsh, Yuba City, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, 
three sisters, Daisy McElyea, Lincoln, Neb.; Dorothy Petshow, Portland, and 
Velma McKnight, Scotts Bluff, Neb.; three brothers, Bob Leach, Winner, S.D.; 
Joe Leach, Alliance, Neb., and Richard Leach, Omaha, Neb., and numerous nieces 
and nephews.

     Funeral services were Tuesday at Smith Callaway Chapel with the Rev. Ron 
Keyser officiating.  Private cremation followed in Portland.
