She was born Oct. 9, 1941, in St. Maries, Idaho, to James Vernon and Agnas (Christensen) Tow and after attending junior high in Richland moved to Lyle and graduated from Klickitat High School. She worked as a bookkeeper at the mill in Klickitat for many years, retiring in 1999. She enjoyed sewing, as well as camping and fishing trips with family. Survivors include: a son Patrick D. Hoagland, Madras; daughters Lisa Ann Wakefield, Peshastin, Wash.; and Kristy Dawn Jordan, Kent, Wash.; brother Jack Tow, Tucson, Ariz.; and sisters Shirley Lethrud, Bullhead City, Ariz.; and Laurie Devine of St. David, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Services in celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at the Klickitat Community Baptist Church, with Pastor Robert Thomas presiding. A potluck reception at the church will follow the services. Arrangements are by Columbia Cremation & Burial.
