The Dalles Weekly Reminder, July 10, 1987
Noble Arthur Hill, 75, died at his home in Rufus June 25.  He had lived in 
Rufus for 30 years.

Mr. Hill was born in Berryville, Ark. on May 6, 1912.  He was a heavy 
equipment operator until he retired.  He was a member of the Goldendale Eagles.

He is survived by four daughters, B. Louise Hill of Antioch, Calif., Edith E. 
Reeves of Yelleville, Ark., Ethel Chandler of Wilmington, Del., Diane Joy 
Blanchard of Portland; a sister, Mary Kirth of Vacaville, Calif; a brother, 
Hershell Jack Hill of Antioch; 27 grandchildren including Raymond Ruiz of 
Rufus and Gwen Ruiz Lincoln formerly of Rufus; 25 great-grandchildren.

Private services were held under the direction of Spencer, Libby and Powell 
Funeral Home.
