Robert Heisler Dufur, Passes

Robert William Heisler, 49, a Dufur area rancher, died Friday evening at a local 
hospital.

Mr. Heisler was widely known in Wasco County.  He was born June 25, 1913, at 
Dufur, was a veteran  World War II and a member of the Dufur Methodist Church, 
Lodge No. 29, AF&AM, American Legion Post No. 48, The Dalles Elks Lodge No. 303 
and the Wasco County Livestock Association.

Surviving are his widow, Celia B. Heisler of Dufur; a daughter, Cindy, of Dufur; 
his father, Clarence W. Heisler of Dufur; a brother, Dr. Lane Heisler of The 
Dalles; and a sister, Mrs. Izetta Hillgen of Dufur.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Spencer & Libby Memorial Chapel, 
Harry Atkins officiating.  The Dufur Lodge will conduct Masonic rites.

Pallbearers will be Frank Ingels, William Hulse, Wayne Sigman, Merle Huston, 
Lester Lindell and Bruce Underhill.

Interment will be at The Dalles IOOF cemetery.
