Clarence Heisler Of Dufur Passes

Clarence William Heisler, a Dufur resident for 70 years, died Saturday in a 
Dalles hospital at the age 80.

He was born April 29, 1883, in Prineville and later moved to Dufur where he was a
rancher.

Mr. Heisler was a member of the Methodist Church of Dufur, Masonic Lodge AF&AM, 
No. 129, Dufur; Elks Lodge, The Dalles; and the Old Wasco County Pioneer 
Association.

Mr. Heisler is survived by a son, Dr. Lane M. Heisler, The Dalles; a daughter, 
Mrs. Izetta Hillgen, Dufur; two brothers, Claud and Harold; five grandchildren 
and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m., in the Dufur Methodist Church with 
the Rev. John Luebke officiating.  The Masonic Lodge will conduct graveside 
services at the IOOF cemetery in Dufur.
