Wakley iwakley@msn.com December 9, 2006, 6:17 pm The Dalles Weekly Reminder, March 15, 1984 Donald Chandler Heberlein, 88, a resident of The Dalles, died Sunday at a local nursing home. He was born in Union Feb. 27, 1896. He was a veteran of World War I and was a former employee of Wasco County. He is survived by his wife, Pearl, whom he married 64 years ago; and three nephews, Ted Farris, St. George, Utah; Victor Farris, Bend; and Stanley Farris, Enterprise. Private graveside services were Wednesday at the IOOF Cemetery with Pastor Asa Jenson officiating. Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
