The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 10, 1983
     Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Willisa Brown Hayden, 70, a 
former resident of The Dalles and a resident of Santa Monica, Calif.
     Mrs. Hayden lived in The Dalles until 1926 when her family moved to 
Pasedena, Calif.  She graduated from UCLA.
     Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Dan Petersen and Mrs. James Fast of 
Portland, and three nieces and one nephew.  Her father and mother, Owen and 
Jennie Brown and brother, Edwin Brown preceded her in death.
     Mrs. Hayden was cremated and will have memorial services Saturday, 2 p.m. 
at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery with Pastor Asa Jensen of Dufur officiating.  
Memorial services were also performed in Santa Monica.
