The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 17, 1985
Dora A. Hartz, 81, died at Mid Columbia Medical Center, Jan. 13.  She resided 
in the Dalles since 1963.

She was born May 16, 1903 in Salem to George and Minnie Strese.

She lived in Baker until 1933, then moved to Yakima, Wash.  Shortly after the 
death of her husband, William, in March of 1963, she moved to The Dalles.

Survivors include a daughter, Helen Baslee; a brother, Alfred Strese, 
Hermiston; a niece, Mrs. Fred (Viola) Hill, The Dalles; a nephew, Ivan Strese, 
Hermiston; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Terrace Heights Memorial Park 
in Yakima.  Shaw & Son Funeral Home in Yakima is in charge of arrangements.
