He was born in Spokane on Feb. 24, 1981, to Susan Lacock-Harjo Eddy. He attended Dry Hollow Elementary School and The Dalles Middle School. He graduated from The Dalles High School in 1999, where he served as an ASB officer. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, The Dalles Little League, First Christian Church youth group, The Dalles Wrestling Club, Babe Ruth Baseball, The Dalles Police Explorers and American Legion Baseball. During his high school years, he was involved in football, cross country, wrestling, baseball, and track and field for The Dalles High. He served in the U.S. Navy following high school, then moved to Seattle, where he worked in the radio business and sales. In 2004, he moved to Great Falls, Mont., to attend the University of Great Falls. He majored in psychology and was a member of the college wrestling team. He enjoyed reading, weight training, snowboarding, music, hiking, camping and spending time in the great outdoors, as well as spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his fiancée Becky Radiel; his parents Richard and Susan Eddy, The Dalles; his brother Erich Harjo and sister-in-law Danica, Boardman; a stepbrother Jaron Eddy and stepsister Chelsea Eddy; grandparents Herb and Marie Lacock; uncles Allen Lacock and Chuck Lacock and his wife Julie, all of The Dalles; an aunt and uncle, Pamela and Don Strickling, Orting, Wash.; cousins Jennifer and Andy Strickling, and Kathleen and Brandon Lacock. He is also survived by his stepgrandparents Mert James of The Dalles and Nick and Susie Eddie of Vale; as well as numerous great uncles, great aunts and second cousins. A celebration of life memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in The Dalles. Memorials may be made to the Justin Harjo Memorial Fund at the Bank of America in The Dalles. The donations will be used for wrestling scholarships to both The Dalles High School and the University of Great Falls.
