The Dalles Chronicle, July 20,   2006
     Danielle Shae Hagler, 17, the daughter of James and Shelly Hagler of 
Oregon City passed away Thursday, July 6 in a rafting accident. 

     She was the oldest of six children, loved life and the people around her 
and had a strong faith. She was to start her senior year at Oregon City High 
School in the fall and was excited about being part of the master choir there. 
She is survived by her parents, her sisters, Meghan and Katelyn Hagler of 
Oregon City; her brothers, Mitchell, Steven and Elijah Hagler of Oregon City; 
her grandparents Chuck and Joyce Hagler and Rudy and Kathy Rhodes; and many 
aunts, uncles and cousins. 

     A funeral and a celebration of her life is Saturday, July 22 at 9:30 a.m. 
at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 14340 Donovan Road in 
Oregon City. The graveside service will immediately follow at the Mt. View 
Cemetery. All are welcome. 

     Her family thanks all those who have offered support, help and prayers. 
Memorials may be made to; The Danielle Hagler Oregon City Music Scholarship 
Fund, The Wasco County Search and Rescue Fund and The Mark Angel (white water 
salvage) Fund. Send all donations to P.O. Box 725, Oregon City, Ore., 97405.
