The Dalles Weekly Reminder, March  25, 1988
Otie M. Gurdane, 96, died March 21.  She was a resident of The Dalles since 
1937.

Mrs. Gurdane was born Aug. 10, 1891 in Danville, Ill.

She is survived by two grandsons, Jack McSparin of North Hollywood, Calif.; 
and Darryl McSpain of Elk Cove, Calif.; three great-grandchildren; a brother 
Truman Poulson of Clarkston; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in 
death by her husband, Thomas, in 1963.

The body will lie in-state Friday March 25 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. for friends 
who wish to call.  Graveside funeral services will be Saturday in Pendleton at 
11 a.m.
