The Dalles Weekly Reminder, December 13, 1984
     Alma Turner Grover, 82, a long-time resident of The Dalles, died in a 
Myrtle Point nursing home Dec. 6, after a heart attack.

     She was born on Upper Mill Creek on June 20, 1902 to Albert and Jane 
Turner.  Her husband William Grover died at Myrtle Point on Dec. 31, 1983.

     She is survived by a brother, Raymond V. Turner, The Dalles; two sisters 
Grace C. Gosson, The Dalles; Alice Wilkerson, Portland; and a step-daughter, 
Gladys Shalstad, Riddle; and eight nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 10 at the Myrtle Point Funeral Home.
