The Dalles Weekly Reminder, August 30, 1984
Lewis Merrill Green, 75, passed away August 22.  He was a resident of 
Arlington for the past three years.

Mr. Green was born May 3, 1909 in Colfax, Wash.  He worked as a ranch hand for 
the Patnode ranch in Arlington.  He was a member of the Lions Club in Granger, 
Wash.

He is survived by one sister, Genevieve Batrum, Selah, Wash.; three brothers:  
Kenneth Green, Selah, Wash.; Mertyn Green, Yakima, Wash,; and Harold Green, 
Kennewick, Wash.

Graveside services were Monday, Aug. 27, at Arlington Cemetery.  Smith 
Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
