     Kathryn Rae Graeme, 57, a resident of Dallesport, died at her home Jan. 
1, 2004.
     She was born in The Dalles on June 7, 1946, the daughter of Robert and 
Nada (Clark) McMurrin.
     She attended schools in Klickitat and Lyle and then earned an associate 
degree in business from Columbia Basin College.
     She married Robert Graeme at the Baptist Church in Klickitat on Friday, 
Dec. 13, 1963. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in 2003.
     She worked various jobs, including managing apartment complexes in the 
Tri-Cities from 1988 until she and her husband moved to Dallesport in 1995. 
She enjoyed cooking, antiques, gardening, crafts, ceramics and painting, and 
also liked to play cards.
     She was family oriented and enjoyed spending time with relatives at a 
reunion last July.
     Survivors include her husband, Robert, Dallesport; son, Eugene B. Graeme, 
Madras; sister, Doris Niemela, Klickitat; brother, Tim McMurrin, Dallesport; 
mother, Nada McMurrin, Lyle; and seven grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her father, Robert, and a brother, Eugene 
McMurrin.
     A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the 
Lyle Lions Club in Lyle. She will be interred at Pleasant Hills Cemetery in 
Appleton.
