The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 3, 1983
     Arbry Mikeal Gosson, 82, a lifetime resident of The Dalles, died Oct. 27 
at his home.
     He was born Sept. 8, 1901 in The Dalles, and married Grace C. Turner on 
April 25, 1931 in Cottage Grove.
     Mr. Gosson retired from PP&L after 18 years as a lineman.  He was a 
member of First Christian Church and was a World War I Navy veteran.
     Survivors include his wife, Grace, The Dalles; three sisters, Nell Sandoz 
and Elizabeth Spellman, both of The Dalles, and Maude Mansfield, Redmond; and 
numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services were Tuesday at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home and 
burial was at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery.
     Memorials are suggested to the Oregon Lung Association.
