The Dalles Chronicle, March 17, 2004
     Raymond Eugene Geary, 52, a former resident of The Dalles, died March 11, 
2004 at the veterans’ hospital in Seattle.
     He was born May 13, 1951 in Medford to Agrapina Garcia-Geary and Norman 
Jefferson Geary.
     He attended The Dalles High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1970-
1972, where he spent time in Germany, Vietnam, and Cambodia. 
     He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, as a logger, and as a partner 
in a bait company on the Puget Sound in Washington. 
     He was preceded in death by his mother (1956) and father (1973). 
     He is survived by his daughters Karren Lavonne Geary, The Dalles; Mandi 
Rae Geary and Randi Lynne Geary, Kearns, Utah; grandchildren Cameron Nelson 
andConner Middleton, The Dalles; and Kyle Geary, Kearns; his mother Lavonne 
Geary; his brothers Robert and Arthur Geary, The Dalles; and his sisters 
Artice Geary, Portland; and Ellon Hybertsen, Dufur; and a number of nieces and 
nephews.
     A memorial service will be held at the Moose Lodge, 233 E. 3rd St. in The 
Dalles on Sunday, March 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. Please bring your favorite dish 
for a potluck lunch.
