The Dalles Daily Chronicle, November 26, 1995
     Lorna A. Gearhart, 58, a resident of Beaverton and a former resident of 
Maupin, Tygh Valley and Biggs Junction, died at a Portland hospital on Nov. 
16, 1995.
     She was born April 29, 1937 in Maupin to Aaron and Belle Davis.  She 
lived in Tygh Valley and Biggs Junction before moving to Beaverton for 
Tektronic Corp.
     She enjoyed bead work, flower craft and reading.
     Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Clayton Solberg, 
Warrenton; a son, Vernon Gearhart, Portland; a grandson, Jeff Van Antwerp, and 
three granddaughters, Amy Van Antwerp, Sarah Gearhart and Jacqueline Solberg; 
a brother, Edward Davis, Portland; three sisters, Florabelle Moynihan, Maupin, 
Betty Morrow and Helen June Reynoldson, both of Portland.
     A memorial service will be held on Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. at the Maupin 
Community Church, with her nephew, Rev. Lawrence Moynihan in charge.  
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
