Arline Louise Johns Obituary Surnames: Johns, White, Pelissier, Bright, Schooler, Apodoca Arline Louise Johns, 59, a former resident of The Dalles and a resident of South Bend, Washington for the past 11 years, died at her home on January 15, 2003. She was born July 9, 1943 in Colville, Washington to Edward and Rosa (White) Pelissier. She was raised in Hermiston and moved to South Bend from The Dalles in 1991. She was a member of the Raymond First Baptist Church. She enjoyed writing, ceramics and oil painting. She married her husband, Foster Johns on August 9, 1974 in The Dalles. He survives at the family home in South Bend. Other survivors include her mother, Rose Pelissier, Raymond; three daughters, Sherri Bright, San Diego, California; Cathy Schooler, Castle Rock, Colorado; and Tracy Apodoca, Santa Fe, California; three sons, Gene Johns, Redondo Beach, California; Clifford Johns, El Cajon, California and Patrick Johns, Salem (Oregon); a brother, Lyle Pelissier, Lafayette, Louisiana; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 25, at First Baptist Church in Raymond. Services will conclude with a reception in the church social hall. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Stoller's Mortuary, 315 Fifth Street, Raymond, Washington 98577 is in care of arrangements.
