Surnames: Johnson, Hill, Harms, Lee, Hassen, Crocker Eileen Ruth Johnson, 61, a resident of Tygh Valley (Oregon), died at the local hospital on Friday, April 4, 2003. She was born April 21, 1941, in Rifle, Colorado, the third of four children to Howard Herman and Neva Lorene (Hill) Harms. She lived in Colorado, but most of her childhood was in Central Oregon towns Crowfoot, Lone Pine, Tumalo and Redmond. She graduated from Redmond High School in 1959 and Central Oregon Beauty College in 1963. She married Raymond Lee Johnson on March 26, 1965 in Culver (Oregon). They lived in Hood River (Oregon), Corvallis (Oregon), Albany (Oregon), Klamath Falls (Oregon) and in Portland from 1980 until moving to Wamic (Oregon) in 1993. She was a homemaker, mother and licensed beautician. She enjoyed ceramics, oil painting, stained glass and caring for family and friends. She had been active with Girl Scouts, was a member of Barlow Gate Grange and volunteered for ten years for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. She is survived by her husband, Raymond, Wamic; her daughter, Teresa Lynn Johnson, Carver; her son, John Johnson, and his wife, Darlene, Portland; her sisters, Shirley Lee, St. Marie's, Idaho and Kathern Hassen, Sunnyvale, California; her brother, Richard Harms, Spotsville, Pennsylvania; 15 nieces and nephews, her sister-in-law, Beverly Crocker, Sweet Home (Oregon) and extended family Timothy and Robin Rawlins and their son, Justin, Gresham (Oregon). A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, at the Barlow Gate Grange in Wamic. Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory with Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Barlow Gate Grange, P.O.
