Surnames: Jaro, Hackard, Nunley Albert Jaro, 67, a resident of The Dalles, died at the local hospital on Friday, April 4, 2003. He was born December 14, 1936 in Hickman, Arkansas to Albert and Myrtle (Hackard) Jaro. He moved to Parkdale (Oregon) in 1969 and later moved to The Dalles, where he lived until his death. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the outdoors. He was a military veteran, having served in the Korea War. He was honorably discharged in 1963. He is survived by his daughter, Marjorie and her husband, Michael Nunley, Santa Rosa, California; sons, Albert D. and his wife, Laura Jaro, The Dalles; and Johnny L. Jaro, Portland; and grandchildren Mitchell and Michael Nunley, Santa Rosa, and Dakota and Angelia Jaro, The Dalles. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Anderson Tirbute Center in Hood River (Oregon). Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or The American Lung Association in care of Anderson's Tribute Center, 1401 Belmont, Hood River, Oregon 97031.
