The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 9, 1987
Donald T. Funk, a resident of Maupin since 1953, died Dec. 30 in Portland at 
age 68.

He was born April 7, 1918, in Mason City, Iowa.

He is survived by three daughters, Debra Sue Magill, Margaret Jean Cleman and 
Donna Maxin Eaton, all of Portland; a friend, Margaret M. Beebe of Wapinita; 
sister, Gladys Gerber of Ottumwa, Iowa; six grandchildren; a great grandson.

Funeral services were held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home with the 
Rev. Steve Hopper officiating.  Burial was at Kelly Cemetery in Maupin.  
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
