Fisher, a resident of The Dalles for 35 years. Born Feb. 12, 1928 at Hixton, Wisconsin and passed away at The Dalles on Friday, Dec. 26, at age 58. A member of the First Christian Church, World War II Army Air Force veteran, a member of The Dalles Moose and Eagles Lodges, the Teamsters Union and Engineer's Local No. 701. Survivors include a son, Clarence Fisher of Vancouver; 2 daughters, Shirley Fisher of Vancouver and Pamela Minor of Cornelius, Or.; 3 grandchildren; his mother, Margaret Fisher of Hood River; 2 brothers, Ed Fisher and Earl Fisher of Freemont, Calif.; a sister, Berdine Roberts of The Dalles. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 11 a.m. at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Honorary casketbearers will be Bill Wright and Bud Hexum. Active casketbearers will be Jim Burke, John Weller, Norm Wilkinson, Mike Burke, Edward Kelty and David Burris. Interment will be at Parklawn Cemetery.
