Wakley iwakley@msn.com December 26, 2006, 2:24 pm The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 12, 1984 Alan Duane Finnegan, 34, a resident of Wasco for 26 years, died Jan. 3 at his home. He was born June 9, 1949 in Bend. He was a graduate of Sherman County High School and worked as an auto mechanic. He was a veteran of Viet Nam with the Navy, and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wasco. Survivors are his mother, Ione Finnegan, Wasco; a brother, James, Wasco; his grandmother, Margaret Finnegan, Vancouver, Wash., and several aunts and uncles. Recitation of the rosary was Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wasco and mass of Christian Burial was yesterday (Wednesday) at the church with the Msgr. Raymond H. Beard as celebrant. Private burial was at Sunrise Cemetery in Wasco. Honorary casketbearers were James Clifton, Douglas Rhinehart, Clyde Massey, Dewey Thomas, Don DeGrange and Dave Miller. Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
