She was born Feb. 11, 1901 in Blackfoot, Idaho. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 183, Maupin. She is survived by four sons: Clarence "Bo" Fargher, Colville, Wash.; John Fargher, LaGrande; James Fargher, Maupin; and Tom Fargher, Redondo Beach, Calif.; two daughters: Mary Helen Barnett, Wamic; and Patricia Snodgrass, Eugene; 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Minnie Fargher, The Dalles; two nieces and a nephew. Her husband, Clarence Fargher, died in August 1969. One grandson, John Douglas Fargher, also died. Funeral services were held Monday, July 23 at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home. Burial was at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in The Dalles. Memorials are suggested to the Southern Wasco County Ambulance Fund or the American Heart Association.
