     Margaret Jayne Fagan, 89, a former resident of The Dalles, died in Bend 
on Aug. 7, 2005.
     She was born in Findlay, Ohio on March 1, 1916, to Joseph and Elizabeth 
(Fleck) Laube.
     She graduated from Findlay High School and after high school she worked 
at Porcelain Products, Inc. and served as a WAVE in the Navy during World War 
II.
     She married Ernest L. Fagan on May 18, 1946 in Findlay.
     They moved to The Dalles, where they raised their three children, Thomas, 
James and Mary, and moved to Bend in 1968.
     She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Bend. She 
enjoyed golfing, playing bridge, traveling and spending time with family and 
friends.
     Survivors include two sons, Thomas of Eugene and James of Bend; a sister, 
Barb Ludi, Findlay; and eight grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter.
     Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, at St. Frances of 
Assisi Catholic Church in Bend.
     Memorials may be made to Hospice of Bend/LaPine, 2075 NE Wyatt Ct., Bend, 
OR 97701.
     Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home of Bend is in care of arrangements.
