Mrs. Flader was born Jan. 14, 1897, in Gladston, Mich. She was a member of the Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was active in the campaign of Janette Rankin, who was the first congresswoman elected in the United States. She was an avid studier of the American Indian, and lectured about the subject. She also had a large collection of American Indian dolls. She is survived by three sons, Dr. Albert E. Wilkinson of The Dalles, Richard Wilkinson of Helena, Mont., and Leonard Wilkinson of Tigard; a daughter, Adele Wilson of Portland; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Private family memorial services will be held Jan. 24 at the home of Dr. Albert Wilkinson, and a memorial service will also be held at Butte, Mont. Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
