The Dalles Weekly Reminder , July 17, 1987
Adelaide U. Comini Evans, 81, died July 9 in The Dalles.  She was a lifelong 
resident of the area.

Mrs. Evans was born July 13 in California.  She was a member of St. Peter 
Catholic Church.  Her husband, Douglas, preceded her in death in 1981.

She is survived by three sisters, Miss Leona Comini of The Dalles, Mrs. 
Margaret Byers of Junction City, and Mrs. Julia Merle of Milwaukie; numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Smith Callaway Chapel officiated by Rev. Henry Albrecht, 
followed by interment at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested 
to St. Mary's Academy Foundation.
