Dunn, 78, The Dalles, died at her home Dec. 8, 2003. She was born July 19, 1925 in Eucha, Okla., an only child to Earl and Chloe (Newman) Stone. She was raised in Jay, Okla., and moved to Hood River in 1942 where she lived until moving to The Dalles in the early ’50s. She and her husband, Milton, both worked at The Dalles Chronicle. Mr. Dunn retired in 1987 after 38 years as production supervisor and Mrs. Dunn worked as a proofreader. She also worked for the City of The Dalles Water Department and retired in 1969. Together, they operated Fort Dalles Antiques in The Dalles for 45 years. She was a member and past president of the Oregon Antique Dealers’ Association for three years and enjoyed reading, traveling, buying and selling antiques at the antique shows. She especially enjoyed her buying trips in the Eastern United States and at the Amish communities. She is survived by her daughter and husband, Candace and Max Kaseberg, The Dalles; her grandson and his wife, who are both in the U.S. Army, Michael and Cayla Slusher, stationed at Fort Riley, Kan.; three cousins: Ruby and her husband, John Randolph; Mavis and her husband, Ray Masters, both of Jay, Okla., and Maxine Washborne, Tulsa, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton, Feb. 11, 1994. Private graveside services were held at Idlewild Cemetery in Hood River on Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 at 11 a.m., the Rev. Karl J. Vercouteren officiating. Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
