The Dalles Chronicle, October 10, 2006
     Betty Jean Dunn, 85, a former resident of The Dalles, died Oct. 5, 2006 
in Vancouver.

     She was born April 22, 1921 in Timber and lived in Portland until 1971. 
She then moved to The Dalles where she lived until moving to Vancouver, Wash. 
in 2000 to be closer to her family.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 1993.

     Survivors include her son, Ron Dunn; daughter, Debbie Benson; brothers, 
Royce and Benny Bartel; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

     A memorial graveside service will be Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006 at 11 a.m. 
at Parklawn Cemetery in The Dalles. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River 
Crematory in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.

     Memorial donations can be given to the Parkinson’s Foundation. To send
