The Dalles Weekly Reminder, August 30, 1984
Eunice Wright Dryden, 84, died in Dufur, August 22.  She resided in Dufur 
since 1946.

She was born Sept. 9, 1899 on a farm near Thayer, Kan. to Charles and Nannie 
Wright.

She was married to Wilbur C. Dryden on June 25, 1935 at Baker.  He died in 
1966.

Mrs. Dryden was a member of the Dufur Christian Church and the Dufur Valley 
Garden Club.

Survivors include several cousins, including Mrs. Jerry Baxter of The Dalles.

Funeral services were Saturday at the Dufur Christian Church with pastor Asa 
Jenson officiating.  Burial followed at The Dufur Community Cemetery.  

She lay in state at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home Friday afternoon.

Casketbearers were Ted Gibbs, Bill Hulse, Archie Swett, Steve Kramer, Frank 
Engles and Cliff Mason.

Memorials may be made to the Dufur Christian Church or the Dufur Ambulance 
Fund.
